Resolution 2020-86 - Approval to purchase Cisco Flex Phone Maintenance Renewal

Background

The City of Brentwood's Cisco phone system requires maintenance and support which is renewed yearly with our vendor, Presidio. This year, the renewal cost under the current contract is quoted as $25,803.20. However, Cisco has created a new renewal system called FLEX which locks in prices for 5 years. Participating in the FLEX program will cost $21,988 the first year (this includes a set up fee) and $19,488.00 each year for the next 4 years. This program includes additional licenses for future growth and attendant console licenses.

This purchase is being made off the Tennessee NASPO ValuePoint Contract, #56718 (Presidio #57011).

Staff Recommendation

Technology staff recommends approval of Cisco Flex Plan.
