Background

On August 13, 2018, City Commission approved resolution 2018-65 - Approval of Contracts for Consolidated Copier Services with RJ Young. Subsequent to that approval and as part of the copier replacement process, it was determined that three copiers needed additional functionality. The SR 3210 unit at the Library is being replaced with a booklet finisher. This will allow the Library to print booklets in-house. The SR 3210 and bridge in Police Records is being replaced with an internal finisher SR 3130 due to space constraints. The Ricoh MP 2555 SP copier for Emergency Communications District is being replaced with a Ricoh MP C3004 EX color copier/printer that includes a cabinet and card reader bracket. The current color printer used by ECD is very costly. This upgrade to a RJ Young color copier/printer will save on toner expense.

The additional monthly cost is $51.00 for a total annual increase of $612 from the agreement approved on August 13, 2018.
