Financial Reporting

Please find attached the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year 2018 revenue and expense report for the Emergency Communications District (ECD) Fund. This report shows the budget to actual comparisons for the twelve months of the 2017-2018 fiscal year.

The unaudited year-to-date revenues collected as of June 30, 2018 are $1,433,039 or 103% of budget. Note that this amount reflects 100% of annual General Fund subsidy to the ECD. Unaudited year-to-date expenses are $1,351,983 or 98% of budget. For comparison purposes, for the same time period in Fiscal Year 2017, revenues were $1,478,929 or 109% of budget, and expenses were $1,294,352 or 96% of budget.

For FY 2017 as of June 30, 2017, ECD had received excess operational funding revenue equal to $56,337, compared to $49,784 excess operational revenue received as of June 30, 2018 for FY 2018, however interest earnings for FY 2017 as of June 30, 2017 were $21,251 compared to $34,333 as of June 30, 2018. Also included in the FY 2017 revenues was a one time funding of $52,516 not received in FY 2018.
