Subject

Approval to purchase Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) Annual Maintenance from CentralSquare Technologies (formerly TriTech).

Background

In 2016 the Police Department purchased new Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) software from Tri-Tech (now CENTRALSQUARE). The maintenance charges are due at the beginning of each fiscal year. CAD software is vital for public safety to function in an effective and efficient manner.

This maintenance agreement is for the period beginning July 1, 2021 and ending June 30, 2022. The maintenance coverage is detailed in the attachment with the invoice.

Staff Recommendation

Staff recommends approval to purchase Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) Annual Maintenance from CentralSquare Technologies.
