Resolution 2021-88 - Agreement with Grayshift, LLC for Purchase of GrayKey Software Online Advanced Annual License

Background

Since 2018, the Police Department has subscribed to a software provided by Grayshift LLC. This software allows our detectives to unlock and extract data from Apple iOS phones and Andriod phones in criminal investigation cases. This is a recurring annual subscription and license fee that is shared with the Williamson County Sheriff's Department, each paying 50% of the total cost each fiscal year. The attached agreement is for the FY 2022 software license.
