Approval to purchase annual maintenance services from Tyler Technologies for FY 2022 for Incode Court Online Component, Document Management Annual Maintenance, and Third Party System Software.

Background

In 2014, the Brentwood Police Department signed a contract with Tyler Technologies for Incode Court Online Component, Document Management Software, and Third Party System Software. The Incode Court Online Component is for online payments made by defendants. The Document Management Software is a paperless feature for court which allows storage of all documents related to a case including system generated letters, forms, scanned documents, etc. This eliminates keeping a paper copy of case details. The System Software is a required 3rd party component for court software to run (Citrix). Under that agreement there was a recurring annual maintenance cost associated each fiscal year with an annual increase of five percent. This amount has been budgeted for in the approved FY 2022 budget.
