Approval to purchase Annual Maintenance from Tyler Technologies for Brazos Interface to Court, Brazos Remote Data Capture software, and Brazos eCitation for FY 2022

Background

In 2014, the Board of Commissioners approved a contract with Tyler Technologies for Brazos Handheld Ticket Writers to be used by officers in the field to issue citations. Under that agreement there was a recurring maintenance cost associated with these devices each fiscal year with an annual increase capped at three percent for the first five years, with the cost increase subject to change for subsequent years. This year's increase is again just three percent, and totals $10,687.08. This amount was included in the approved FY 2022 budget.

This invoice covers the cost of:

Brazos Interface to Court software (Pushes electronic citation data to Court software)
Brazos Remote Data Capture (RDC) software (Electronic ticketing project; officers use handheld device to scan DL, registration, complete ticket electronically, ability to take 4 images and record 3 minutes of audio; ruggedize devices with printers in cars.
Brazos eCitation software
