Resolution 2019-74 - Authorizing an amendment to the agreement with Innovative Precision Technology for sound production services to include an additional date for the 2019 Summer Concert Series

Background

The City of Brentwood and Innovative Precision Technology entered into a contract for Summer Concert Series Audio Equipment and Services on May 14, 2018. After successful completion of the 2018 summer concert series, an extension was approved on February 25, 2019 to provide the same services for the 2019 summer concerts. The dates specified in the extension were June 9 & 23, and July 4 & 14.

The June 9 concert with the very popular Rubiks Groove band had to be canceled at the last minute due to weather. Staff has arranged to reschedule this concert to August 4, which will necessitate an additional service day from Precision Technology for a fee of $2,230, pursuant to the terms of the contract.

Staff Recommendation

Staff recommends approval of Resolution 2019-74, authorizing an amendment to the agreement with Innovative Precision Technology for Sound Production Services to add an additional concert date.

Previous Commission Action

February 25, 2019 - The City Commission approved an amendment to the agreement with Innovative Precision Technology to extend the agreement for one year to include the 2019 Summer Concert Series.

May 14, 2018 - The City Commission approved an agreement with Innovative Precision Technology to provide audio production services for the 2018 Summer Concert Series.
