Resolution 2020-54 requests approval of modifications to the improvements within the permanent open space for the Brentwood Country Club Subdivision.

Background

The attached resolution requests approval of minor modifications to the OSRD Development Plan for the Brentwood Country Club subdivision. The proposed revisions relate to modifications to the recreation improvements at the amenity center located 5123 Country Club Drive.

At its June 1, 2020 meeting the Brentwood Planning Commission voted unanimously (10-0) to approve a revised preliminary site plan for the amenity area at the Brentwood Country Club. The plan proposes the following changes:

Construction of a small splash pad located northeasterly of the existing kiddie pool, and
Replacement of approximately 400 feet of the existing chain link fence along the rear project boundary to the rear of the existing maintenance area with an eight foot tall wooden privacy fence.

No other changes are proposed to the plan.

As part of the review, the Planning Commission also recommended approval of the proposed modifications to the Board of Commissioners.

Because the proposal requests an alteration in the recreation improvements within the permanent open space, approval by the Board of Commissioners of the corresponding revisions to the OSRD Development Plan is necessary in accordance with the requirements of Section 78-185(b) of the Municipal Code.
