The Brentwood Beer Board met on Monday, June 14, 2018 at 5:00 pm at Brentwood City Hall.
 
Present:
Mayor Jill Burgin; Commissioner Betsy Crossley; Commissioner Anne Dunn; Commissioner Rhea Little; Commissioner Ken Travis
Absent:
Vice Mayor Mark Gorman; Commissioner Regina Smithson
Staff Present:
City Manager Kirk Bednar; Assistant City Manager Jay Evans; City Attorney Kristen Corn; City Recorder Holly Earls
             

Approval of Minutes
             
May 14, 2018
  Moved by Commissioner Rhea Little for approval of the minutes as written, seconded by Commissioner Betsy Crossley
  Vote: 5 - 0 Approved
             

New Business
             
Beer Law Violation Hearing - 55 South, 7031 Executive Center Drive
  Moved by Commissioner Anne Dunn to suspend the beer permit for a period of seven (7) days, effective July 9, 2018, with signs to be posted in the business stating that beer was sold to a minor, seconded by Commissioner Betsy Crossley
  Moved by Commissioner Ken Travis to amend the motion to suspend the beer permit for a period of seven (7) days, effective July 9, 2018, with signs to be posted in the business stating that beer was sold to a minor with the alternative of a $2,000 penalty to be paid within seven days, seconded by Mayor Jill Burgin
  The motion to amend passed 3-2 with Commissioner Crossley and Commissioner Dunn voting no.
  The main motion as amended passed.

  Moved by Commissioner Ken Travis to suspend the beer permit for a period of seven (7) days, effective July 9, 2018, with signs to be posted in the business stating that beer was sold to a minor with the alternative of a $2,000 penalty to be paid within seven days, seconded by Commissioner Rhea Little
  Vote: 4 - 1 Approved
