Public Hearing for Proposed Six-Year Capital Improvements Program for Fiscal Years 2019-2024

Background

The proposed FY 2019-2024 Capital Improvements Program (CIP) was reviewed with the Board of Commissioners at a work session on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. The staff reviewed each project and received initial guidance and direction on the appropriateness and priorities in the program. The CIP has since been posted on the City's website and circulated in the community for citizen review and comment.

Formal public hearings on the proposed CIP are scheduled at three City Commission meetings on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, Tuesday, June 12, 2018, and Monday, June 25, 2018. A Resolution to adopt the six-year CIP will be presented to the City Commission for consideration and approval at the June 25, 2018 meeting.

Previous Commission Action

Each year, the City Commission reviews and approves the six-year capital improvements program. An opportunity for citizen comments on the proposed program is provided through three formal public hearings.
