Approval to purchase computers from Dell for Equipment Replacement.

Background

The City of Brentwood's PCs and laptops are replaced every four years. The following is a list of the equipment due to be replaced in FY 2024 per the equipment replacement schedule.

Laptops - 12
Desktop computers - 59
24" Monitors - 75
Soundbars - 48

Purchase of the equipment is proposed via a 'piggyback' purchase from Dell pursuant to a statewide contract it has in place with the Wilson County Board of Education (#C00000038302). The total cost for equipment is $75,395.83.

Technology staff recommend the approval of this purchase.

Fiscal Impact:

Of this purchase, $13,831.12 is for Water Services equipment that comes directly from the Water and Sewer Fund (412-00000-16400). Their equipment is not part of the Equipment Replacement Fund. The remaining funds are programmed in the FY 2024 Equipment Replacement Fund budget.
