Approval to Purchase video wall controller/processor from AVI-SPL for 911 Center

Background

The new 911 Communication Center at the Police Headquarters facility will have a video wall consisting of six 82" TVs controlled by an RGB Spectrum Visual Display Controller/Processor that will allow all the screens to be connected together as a single display. There are two additional TVs on each side of the main video wall that will also be controlled by the Controller/Processor. The flexible display processor supports analog, digital, web browser, and IP-based sources displayed in windows anywhere on the video wall. We plan on displaying traffic cameras, closed circuit cameras from city buildings, real time weather map and real time GIS map of public safety vehicles and CAD calls.

The total cost of the RGB Spectrum Visual Display Controller/Processor is $22,442.50 from AVI-SPL using OMNIA Contract #2019.001535.
