Previously, the City contracted the vendor, Commtech Radio, to develop software that would monitor the status of City generators. This software was also used by the Water Services Department to monitor tank levels. In June 2021, the Water Services Department awarded a bid to Prime Controls to implement new SCADA monitoring using the software, VTScada. The attached proposal for $9,420 is for Prime Controls to develop a separate site on our internal servers that will monitor the status of generators located at various City owned buildings. This will be a change order to the original contract with Prime Controls.
This is a onetime cost for these services and will be divided between each building's maintenance fund as follows:
