Resolution 2021-18 - Approval of the Use of a Competitive Sealed Proposals Process for the Procurement of Video Productions Services for the City of Brentwood

Background

As part of the annual job functions of the Community Relations Department, it produces on average about 60 videos a year for various city departments and events. The City utilizes a video production vendor to provide technical expertise. To find a reputable company to fulfill this need, staff is requesting City Commission approval to use a competitive sealed proposals process to select a qualified vendor for these services. The use of this process is requested because qualifications, experience, and competence are important factors for these services and should be considered for this procurement in addition to cost.
