Background
The City's Capital Projects Fund budget for FY 2026 includes the replacement of one 3/4 ton 4x4 pickup truck for Public Works that is used for a variety of work functions, including snow plowing. A total of $50,250 budgeted and the current state contract price is $50,162.58 (quote attached). Staff recommends purchasing the 2026 Chevy 2500 4x4 vehicle from Wilson County Motors utilizing the State of Tennessee Statewide Contract SWC#209 (attached).
