Approval to Purchase Automox Renewal from Insight Public Sector

Background

Automox software is used to update the Microsoft Windows operating system used on City equipment with the latest security patches as well as patching non-Microsoft applications such as Adobe Reader, Google Chrome and Firefox. For this year's renewal, we would like to purchase a three-year renewal plan which will lock in our price and save approximately $3,600 each year.

We currently have 730 licenses which will cost $45.75 each for a total of $33,397.50 per year.

The renewal will be purchased from Insight Public Sector using the State of Tennessee NASPO Valuepoint Software contract #CTR060025/SWC 3999/77151.
