Approval to Surplus One Fire & Rescue Department Pickup Truck at Auction
Background
The Fire & Rescue Department requests City Commission approval to dispose of one Chevrolet HD2500 pickup truck at auction utilizing Govdeals.com. This vehicle was first assigned to the training officer, then rotated through use as a brush truck and most recently a general purpose squad truck.  The pickup is a 2003 model year with approximately 107,000 miles. A replacement truck was requested and approved in the FY 2020 Annual Operating Budget and the Fire and Rescue Department took delivery of that vehicle in early November. 

All City-related decals and emergency equipment have been or will be removed prior to sale.  The condition of the vehicle will be clearly stated in the auction, as well as the contingency that it is being sold as-is.

Staff Recommendation
Staff recommends approval to surplus one Chevrolet HD2500 pickup truck to be sold on Govdeals.com.
